As a North American player who never imported the Project Diva games before they released overseas, I'm glad to see a release of some old fan favorites since I and many other overseas fans haven't experienced them yet. I wonder how the Japanese fanbase feels about it, though?

They've only been getting rehashed old content and with some added gloss or sparkles here and there. I heard this complaint from someone I know who's been dedicated the series from the start, and I can totally get what he means. Anyone know what the general fan consensus for F2nd is in Japan?

I heard this complaint from someone I know who's been dedicated the series from the start, and I can totally get what he means. Anyone know what the general fan consensus for F2nd is in Japan? I can't speak too much about 'general consensus' because I don't follow Japanese gaming sites closely enough to give an accurate opinion. I can say however that the series has been selling progessively worse and and worse ever since Project Diva 2nd on the PSP. F and F2nd sold about the same number of copies at launch, but F2nd launched on two platforms at the same time as opposed to F being Vita-exclusive at first, and both titles only sold about half as much as PD2nd on PSP.

I have definitely read a number of complaints from people who feel there is too much re-used content in F2nd and to be honest I kinda have to agree. I don't live in Japan but I have been importing these for a while so a good amount of the content isn't really 'new' to me at all.

DLC is mostly the same situation. Out of the 14 songs that have been released so far Rosary Pale is the only one that hasn't shown up in a past Diva game (though it was in the arcade version). And you also have to keep in mind the Japanese are being charged 500¥ per song and 300¥ per costume, AND there is no 'song club' / 'costume club' option like the western release has so if you want DLC you're stuck buying it all separately.

If you're completely new to the series, like I'm assuming the majority of non-Japan players are, this issue is mostly alleviated. But long-time fans have pretty good reason to be upset about it. Couldn't have said it better, As i was also a loyal fan to the series from the beginning, although i do like the whole remaking (Just improving the graphics) to the old songs, As many songs were very, very unclear and the PSP itself glitches in some parts of some songs. I guess every person got different opinions.

Nah don't get me wrong, I've spent an embarrassing amount of money on the Diva games, DLC and miscellaneous other vocaloid-related stuff, personally I can see the value in it even if it is mostly just updates to songs I've played a zillion times already because I love the series so much. But I would venture to guess people like me make up a very small percentage of the audience and I can definitely understand how the average player might not have the same opinion.

As someone who has the Japanese versions of all the games so far and will continue to import them (so I'm in the same boat as the Japanese players) it's pretty disappointing seeing them rehashing songs that we already played back in PD/PD2nd/PDE and their Dreamy Theater extensions, and the one song that counts as 'new' (Rosary Pale) is still a rehash from Project Diva Arcade. It's a bit sneaky with what they're doing to players in the west since they're making easy profit for 'new' content for these gamers with no effort. However, assuming the soon-to-be-F trilogy follows in a similar vein as the original trilogy (and if they take the sales of the games into account) then Project Diva F Extend should have a brand new setlist with no rehashes. I'm still glad that western players can enjoy these great rhythm games.

And I forgot to actually say amazing work on the thread so far Lukika, jeez that made me look like a prick lol. Fantastic way to keep players up to date! Edited March 18, 2015 by Kashiyuka. Fantastic way to keep players up to date! I'm starting to get how Japanese fans feel about these rehashed DLCs, It is kinda boring to see/play something you can play/see on a game you already have, for no extra payment, and to make it worse to them, there's no 'Clubs'. But, i've only gone into importing since Last year and know little yet, so i can't really express my opinion.

On the bright side, i'm also sort of expecting new line of songs in F Extend, As i'm already on the Hype train without the train itself Pfft, Kashiyuka i'm just doing my job, Informing other fans Which reminds me, jujukazu Already spoiled the 10th Update songs (the one after the next update), But i'm hardly resisting not to spoil them. Yeah, there aren't really any of those DLC clubs on the Japanese store but it sucks yeah, then again most Japanese players will have already played the DLC songs so perhaps there's no clubs so they can pick and choose the songs they like enough to re-purchase? It's not Marginal and When The First Love Ends, is it?

Marginal is okay. But When The First Love Ends is a perfect song.

I'm almost tempted to buy it myself. Those two are one of my favorites in my hall of DIVAs, but let's keep it a secret, Okay? Terribly sorry for being late, But now, I present you the 9th Update of the DLC, Featuring 'Kawaii' modules, this batch is also Kaito-centric!

Free Skins for 39 days: New tracks! New Modules: So guys, what do you think of this Update?

Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd Dlc Songs Download

Disappointed in the so-called 'Kaito-centric'? I for one, disappointed because they can't focus on Kaito and Meiko unless they bring Miku along, Everyone but them got two (more for some) full tracks while they only got one each.I really wanted to see on the rocks and Lovers Suicide in Oblivion, But who am i kidding? I love all the tracks so far! Stay Tuned for the 10th Update of the DLC! Note: I have checked the EU store after posting this and it seems that Sony prefers to not update the DLC.So just keep it together and wait until they update the store!
